If you have been near me for more than 5 minutes then you know music is a huge passion for me and is a very large part of my life.  I am constantly singing while walking around and I don’t even realize I’m doing it half the time.  So when I found out Nicola is a pop star I got really excited to read this book.  I really liked the fact that Nicola is not a party girl even though the media thinks she is.  The night she decides to get a little bit crazy Marcus decides to as well.  Marcus wanted a forever with his ex girlfriend but after catching her cheating he realized that she was never the one for him.  He decided that he was going to stop looking for love and just have fun for a while.  The instant connection between Nicola and Marcus is so hot it sizzles.  After their first night together doesn’t go as planned he pushed her away and didn’t think he would get the chance to see her again.  But then he discovers her again through his sister (Lori a well-known choreographer) and learns she a famous pop star. 

When they get their second chance they decide to span it out over a few nights with the standard “No strings attached” agreement.  Well we all know how well that usually works out.  lol Fate continued to pull them together the entire weekend and by the time Marcus figured out her loved her she was walking away from him.  She is on tour and misses him terribly.  In a swoonfilled moment Marcus chases after her.  I love it when men have to chase the women they want and fight to win them over.  I fell in love with Nicola and Marcus and was sitting on pins and needles the whole time I was reading hoping they would find their happy ever after…of course they do but not after a bit of struggle.  I love the epilogues at the end of the books leading us perfectly into the next book.
