Three Times Lucky Guest Author Louisa Bacio

At some point in the planning of the Three Times Lucky box set, the question came up about the multiple pairings in each story. Those who’ve read me, know anything goes; hence, the theme of “Love Knows No Bounds.” It’s free love, and it’s up to the characters to point me toward the romance interest, straight, gay or multiples.

My job is to tell the story. Ménage by Monday brings together three friends from high school, and covers the span of three days. While most people say they wouldn’t choose to “go back,” there’s always that concept of “If I knew then what I know now …” Hmmm, imagine what would happen?

After Tommy’s father dies, he invites two friends – Zack and Shannon – to stay for the weekend, and help him get everything organized. Ulterior motives abound. Each has held a secret crush on the other. For one reason or another, nothing much ever happened. There’s sexual tension aplenty, but a short timespan to bring it together.

Another writer may have turned the tale into a love triangle where the odd one out gets jilted. There’s no “Jacob” here, though. Instead, this threesome has something entirely else in mind.

What can happen in three days? When three friends—Tommy, Zack and Shannon—come together, the oddball threesome discovers they share some intense sexual fantasies.

While reminiscing about old times, more than the usual stories come out.  It’ll take some stripped-down honesty, heated arguments and naughty bedtime tales for a Ménage By Monday.
